About Blueberry Hill Vineyard

Blueberry Hill Vineyard situated in wine district of Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley, was once a part of the old McPherson Estate. The old, treasured vines produce great fruit and wonderful wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz are the varieties made at Blueberry Hill Vineyard. Most of these varieties have been sold to other winemakers in the region for use in their wines, some winning international awards. This is a fine testament to the quality of grapes that Blueberry Hill Vineyard produces.

It has a fine cellar door, tennis court and swimming pool for visitors and great view of the Broken Back Range and Barrington Tops. They also have boutique wine tastings.

Over the summer months Blueberry Hill’s cellar door is open up to 6.30 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings. They also have hay rides around the estate and walk-throughs with John to explain viticultural practices.

As a further incentive to wine lovers, they have the Connoisseur Club, where members can enjoy a $3 discount per bottle off the Cellar Door prices. Membership is free, but you must buy a six-bottle tasting case twice each year for the club price of $120 per case. Each case will have a selection of available wines, including all new releases and you can select all white, or all reds or a mixture of both.

It’s a great way to enjoy the best and latest and to keep up with what is current in the wine industry. Apart from the best buying capabilities on offer, they have loads of information for the wine enthusiast and will answer all your questions. That’s some kind of club!

So whether you become a Connoisseur Club member, or are just a casual visitor, you will be treated like royalty when you go to Blueberry Hill Vineyard.
