About Molly's Cradle Wines

Molly's Cradle Wines are located at 356 Tuckers Lane, North Rothbury, New South Wales. They are producers of excellent wines and believe that ‘from the best grapes comes the best wine.’

This privately-owned family company vineyard was first considered as a concept in 1997 and established with the first plantings of vines in 2000. It is a boutique vineyard and from the first 17 acres it has now grown to 25 acres.

The viticultural practices are carried out in such a way as to preserve the integrity of the fruit at every stage. The vines and the fruit are hand-tendered, hand-pruned and hand-sorted to ensure that the quality is kept to the highest possible degree. These careful preparations make the winemaker’s job so much easier and hassle-free.

They use the most modern techniques of soil, water, canopy and light management to gain the maximum benefit from this wonderful Australian grape growing area.

The wines from the estate are known as The Molly's Cradle Single Vineyard Range and are limited in their release. Each vintage is the result of painstaking vineyard management care and best practices.

Molly's Cradle do have a commercial range which they sell through restaurants, hotels and clubs, but ‘Vineyard Range’ will only be available on their web site, or the Cellar Door when it is completed.

Construction of their Cellar Door is under way, but a tad behind schedule, but when all three stages are completed it will be a place where visitors can relax and enjoy the wines and soak up the lovely views of the vineyard and surrounding countryside.

They are running a ‘Win A Trip to New Zealand’ draw that will coincide with the grand opening of the Cellar Door. Until then, their wines are available on their web site.

Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz and Verdelho are the wonderful varieties available for purchase from their web site.
