About St Anne's Winery

St Anne's Winery is located at the corner of Perricoota Road and 24 Lane
Moama, in the Perricoota wine district of New South Wales.

The Myrniong vineyard lies amidst the spectacular Pentland Hills, around fifty-minute’s drive from the heart of Melbourne, on the Western Freeway. The lush, green valley is also close to the historic towns of Bacchus Marsh and the goldfields of Ballarat. It is the perfect place to taste their award-winning wines and to enjoy picnics, corporate functions, wedding ceremonies and receptions.

The range of St Anne’s wines includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling and Shiraz. They are also famous for their excellent fortified and dessert wines.

The McLean family established St. Anne's in 1972 and continued to produce top quality wines, which are available at the two Cellar Door outlets at Myrniong and Moama.

The bluestone cellar at Myrniong is built from the remains of Ballarat's original goal, built in the 1840s and is open daily up to 5-00pm. It features open truss ceilings, which gives it a distinct colonial feel.

The estate has wide parklands and landscaped gardens; just the place for a relaxing day out and a chance to taste some of the best wines of the region.

Over the last thirty years or so, they have added a double story barrelhouse, cooperage and a 300-seat restaurant. All the buildings have a common theme, with the use of solid bluestone and open truss ceilings.

The vineyard at Myrniong is located at a high altitude and is generally cool. This makes their flagship, Riesling, the obvious choice. But they do have other varieties planted, such as Cabernet, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It is a long growing season at St Anne's Winery, Myrniong, which results in a low yield, but also a very high quality fruit.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Grenache, Mataro, Merlot, Durif, Petit Verdot, Riesling, Sangiovese, Semillon, Shiraz and Verdelho are the range of wines available at their two Cellar Doors.
