About Stevens Brook Estate

Located in the Perricoota Wine District of Southern New South Wales are the Stevens Brook Vineyards. They sit on rich clay, loam soils and receive their irrigation from the mighty Murray River. The climate of the region favours a slow ripening period, which develops the fruit and gives the grapes rich and intense flavours.

The vineyard runs to some forty acres of vines, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, Shiraz and Verdelho being the grapes of choice.

The 40 acre property consists of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Verdelho grapes. They also have several olive groves planted with a variety of trees.

There are several vineyards that make up the Stevens Brook Estate all vineyards located on the Victorian side of the Murray River located in Torrumbarry. They produce Chardonnay, Frontignac, and other classic varietals, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

The emphasis at Stevens Brook is on quality, not quantity. Thus it is that production is limited to three-to-four tonnes an acre, giving the crop the right amount of fruit flavour, with great structure and wonderful regional characteristics.

Their Cellar Door is situated at the Historic Port Area of Echuca. Their idea was to bring the wine to the people. The Cellar Door has a delightful courtyard that leads to an intimate wine tasting cellar. They also offer a tourist package for their visitors and tastings of their complete range of Stevens Brook Estate Premium Wines.

They can cater for groups of wine tasters and special events in the courtyard or the tasting room, but bookings are essential for those events. Wine gift packages and regional food is also available at their Cellar Door.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, Shiraz and Verdelho are the tremendous varieties available at the Cellar Door and well worth the visit. So, why not take a trip out to this great winery?
