About Piromit Wines

Piromit Wines is located at 113 Hanwood Avenue, Hanwood, in the Riverina wine district. It is a multi-award winning vineyard with a difference, in that they not only make the classic wines, such as Cabernet Merlot, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho, but they also make such Italian varieties as Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese. Added to these wonderful wines, they also produce Botrytis Semillon, which consistently wins awards.

Piromit Wines was established in 1998 on a site that was once a drive-in cinema. It is situated near Hanwood, a few minutes drive from Griffith in the heart of the Riverina. The region is famous for the quality of their wines and the boutique winery, Piromit Wines, is in the perfect position to carve its own special name as one of the great wineries of the area. They have already seen much success, both in Australia and overseas.

While many of the big players in the wine industry have opted for multi- regional blends, Piromit Wines are determined to remain with producing wines that are ‘truly unique, individual, and character driven wines made from locally grown grapes and packed full of warm-climate fruit ripeness.’

Domenic Piromalli, with over thirty years experience retail sales, promotion and marketing, is the quintessential all-rounder. His passion for fine wine is now in the production of the product.

Domenic Guiglielmino, the other ‘Dom’, has over twenty-five years experience in sales, promotions and marketing, and he, too, is passionate about the fine wine business.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Sangiovese, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz and Verdelho can all be tasted and purchased at their Cellar Door. The staff at Piromit Wines will give you a warm welcome and will gladly answer all your wine-related questions.
