Eden Valley

The high country of Eden Valley has a long history of viticulture equaling that of the Barossa Valley. Joseph Gilbert planted the first vines at his Pewsey Vale vineyard in 1847, the same year as the first plantings by Johann Gramp in the Barossa Valley at Rowland Flat. Eden Valley covers an area as large as that of the Barossa Valley proper, albeit less intensely developed. It is justifiably famous for its Riesling, which vies for supremacy with that of the Clare Valley. This region is also home to such renowned Shiraz vineyards as Henschke's Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone and the Chardonnay vineyards of Mountadam.

Barossa Cottage Wines

Barossa Cottage Wines is actually two vineyards. The larger of the two is at Eden Valley where the owners live and the other is located at Angaston.

Eden Hall

Eden Hall Wines are located on Craneford Road, Springton in the Eden Valley. They are producers of fine wines made at their Avon Brae vineyard. The vineyard is situated on the undulating hills of the valley and benefits from a long and cool ripening period.

Eden Springs

Eden Springs is located on Boehm Springs Road, Springton in the beautiful High Eden, which forms part of the famous wine region of Eden Valley.

Flaxman Wines

Flaxman Wines is located in one of the finest regions for growing Riesling and Shiraz in Australia. It is in the Flaxmans Valley, which forms part of the Eden Valley. It is situated on Flaxmans Valley Road, high on the Barossa ranges at the start of the Eden valley.

Glen Eldon Wines

The Sheedy Family established Glen Eldon Wines in 1997. It is a family-owned-and-operated winery. Mary and Richard Sheedy are the proprietors and they have turned Glen Eldon into a premium winery that specialises in producing regional wines of exceptional quality.

HARTZ BARN WINES

Hartz Barn Wines is located on Truro Road, Moculta in the Eden Valley. It is a family-owned-and–operated vineyard which forms a part of the Barossa region of South Australia.
