About Charlies Estate Wines

Located on Swan Street, Henley Brook in the delightful Swan Valley, just outside of Perth, Western Australia, lies the vineyard known as Charlies Estate Wines.

Their fruit is exclusively Western Australian and is processed at the Swan Valley winery. They have a wide range of wines to suit all kinds of palates, from the casual drinker to the connoisseur. Their wines have become famous, not only in Australia, but also around the world.

Charlies ‘Origins’ is their signature wine at Charlies Estate, together with a wide range of other superb quality wines. The wines are all produced and bottled at their modern winery. They also have what they call a ‘unique Cellar Door experience’, which is the core of their enterprise.

The Charlies Estate Wines ‘Origins’ label are what they term their ‘popular 'lifestyle' wine range.’ They are reasonably priced and are tremendous value. The wines are easy drinking and present a vibrant, full bodied taste.

The fruit for their ‘Today’ range is sourced from some of the premier regions of Western Australia and presents with an excellent quality, once again at a very affordable price. This range includes: Cabernet Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, unwooded Chardonnay and Shiraz.

The ‘Homelands’ range is again 100% West Australian and considered to be ‘an entry level wine’, but with enough punch to suit any wine lover.

The ‘Knotted Vine’ range is designed to showcase Charlies Estate quality wines. The chief winemaker selects only the very best fruit parcels for this range, which he identifies in the growing stage. These are limited release wines and will vary occasionally. The first ‘Knotted Vine’ release is a 2005 West Australian Shiraz.

The Cellar Door has the complete cellar and tasting-room facilities, but it also features a merchandise shop and a unique boutique Nougat facility. The also present to the public a huge range of teas from around the world.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Shiraz, Tempranillo and Viognier are available at their Cellar Door.
